It is an area steeped in the history of the Industrial Revolution and is located a little over one mile east of the renowned and historic township of Ironbridge which is now a World Heritage Site. It is some six miles south of Telford town centre with its wide range of recreational and shopping facilities, including the New Southwater development, the M54 motorway and the town’s central railway station.

The property is an individual apartment within this historic building, which was converted from the original Maws Craft Works in the early 1990’s. The apartment boasts many character features including sash windows and 11ft high ceiling.

The property:
Comprises an entrance hallway which has a useful cloaks cupboard, airing cupboard and access leading to the large open plan lounge/diner, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom/wc. The lounge/diner is over 21ft long with 11ft high ceiling with large central atrium window creating a lovely light and airy room, it boasts an original ‘Maws’ tiled and mosaic floor depicting the year 1883 in the centre with different designs of tiles around the outside – originally this was ‘Maw & co’ showroom, there is a staircase ascending to a mezzanine level. The kitchen has recently been refitted comprising a range of base and wall units, integrated oven and hob, space for two additional appliances and windows with outlook towards the courtyard area. The attic room could be used for additional storage and has the atrium window from the lounge.

The double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and bow window also with outlook towards the courtyard. The bathroom/wc has a modern white suite comprising the usual facilities with the benefit of having a shower over the bath.
