Quietly situated within the conservation area, a tastefully decorated and much improved during recent years, pretty, end of terrace, two bedroom cottage with enclosed garden conveniently situated within walking distance of low town amenities.

Over the last eight years 57, Bernards Hill has been the subject of much improvement by our justly house proud clients, it now offers a turnkey opportunity to acquire a beautifully presented home. Our clients first project was to replace the central heating boiler with an efficient combi boiler, an attractive cream coloured kitchen with integrated appliances and coordinated tiles followed as did a new bathroom, double glazing, new carpets and floor coverings.

The cosy and stylish living room is entered via a double glazed front door, the chimney breast features a fireplace currently occupied by an electric stove but with the facility to re-open the flue for a wood burning stove, if required, the white painted ceiling beams ensure that the natural light is made the most of and the sense of light and airiness is retained. The living room is open plan to but separated from the attractive breakfast kitchen by a peninsular arrangement of floor mounted cabinets, the cottage style cream coloured floor and wall mounted kitchen cabinetry is complimented by coordinated ceramic tiling and integrated appliances that include a fridge and freezer in a tall larder cabinet and built in oven hob and extractor, the kitchen also has space for a dining table and chairs, a designer style column wall mounted radiator is both a stylish and effective addition. An impressive feature of this cottage property is the amount of built in, and therefore concealed, storage that features throughout, built in storage is not necessarily typical of period property, there is a deep storage cupboard off the living room. The staircase, with recently replaced balustrade and hand rail, leads to the first floor where the landing has a built in cupboard housing the central heating combination boiler, cottage doors radiate off the landing to the principal, and double, bedroom which overlooks the rear garden and has built in wardrobe storage, the second bedroom, is currently utilised as a dressing room but with the possibility of taking bedroom furniture, and a bathroom, recently re-appointed and brightly lit with natural light from a skylight and featuring a white suite of panel bath with shower over and vanity wash hand basin with storage and a wall mounted w.c. with concealed cistern. Outside, the characterful terraced garden, approached via a flight of steps from Bernards Hill and entered via a gate, is a delightful, low maintenance space in which to take sunshine whilst enjoying the fence enclosed and private space.

The historic and aspirational market town of Bridgnorth has a wide variety of amenities including well regarded schools for children of all ages, including St. Leonards Church of England Primary School, St. Johns Roman Catholic Primary School, Bridgnorth Endowed School, and Oldbury Wells School, other good amenities include a doctors surgery, a selection of supermarkets, local and high street shops, traditional public houses and restaurants, a cinema and a characterful theatre, two supermarkets, a Co Op and a Marks and Spencers Foodhall are within walking distance.
